The Royal Ministry of Alpha Theta Omega Christian Sorority was founded on March 11, 2002 at Middle Tennessee State University.  God gave two ladies by the name of Ailisha Vaughn and Aileen Vaughn a vision that would allow women to unite together,  fellowship, and promote the name of Jesus Christ without compromising the message of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:16).  In order to bring this vision to pass, they incorporated a plan that would later help develop a ministry known as a Christian Sorority.  Aileen and Ailisha wanted Alpha Theta Omega Christian Sorority to be made of distinct women who were not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Through intense hours of research and prayer, Alpha Theta Omega was on the verge of being birth.  However, there was still a lot of work that had to be done.

Putting the pieces together the Vaughn sisters began seeking the Lord about other women who could help enhance their vision to bring it to pass and establish it at a university.  These women would be later recognized as the Historical Charter Founders at Middle Tennessee State University.  These faithful anointed ladies were known as Nikita Murry, Robbie Snapp, Andrea Scott, Carmen Chandler, and last but not least Shalynda Parker.  They were the leading ladies that would finalize the vision of Alpha Theta Omega Chritian Sorority.  Because of God's perfect plan, Alpha Theta Omega became not only a vision but a reality on March 11, 2002.

Esther Omega Chapter

Today, the Royal Ministry of Alpha Theta Omega Christian Sorority Incorporated has spread her wings to Missouri by establishing chapters at Missouri State University (Esther Alpha), University of Central Missouri (Esther Beta), and the University of Missouri-Rolla (Esther Gamma).  In an effort to address alumni membership and increased graduate student interest, the St. Louis City-Wide chapter (Esther Delta) was also launched.  On March 11, 2007, Alpha Theta Omega and its Visionaries commemorated five years of ministry with the establishment of two new chapters at Southeast Missouri State University (Esther Epsilon) and the University of Missouri-Columbia (Esther Zeta).  During the Summer of 2008, the Kansas City City-Wide chapter (Esther Eta) was also established.  The Royal Ministry of Alpha Theta Omega has crossed denominational, racial, and cultural lines.  We are indeed a reflection of Christ.  Dreams, Dreams, Dreams, and this Dream has become a REALITY!
